Anti -ragging committee

Anti – ragging committee at institute level is here by constituted for prevention of the ragging and also to ensure the implementation of anti – ragging measuring in the college.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

All the members are directed to implement the following guidelines immediately to curb the ragging in and outside of the college campus.

• Frequent rounds in the college campus and surrounding areas.
• Conduct awareness programs among students about ragging.
• Advise students to communicate to their parents, faculty members, or committee members if any sort of ragging occurs.
• If any type of ragging is reported, immediately conduct the meeting and recommend appropriate action as per the Act of Prohibition of Ragging in Educational Institutions.
• Create a peaceful and ragging-free atmosphere in the college campus and surroundings.
• Prevent ragging inside and outside the campus through regular monitoring.
• Bring any reported ragging incident immediately to the notice of the chairperson.
• Committee members and staff are directed to follow and act according to anti-ragging law.
• During lunch hour, hostel, canteen, and bus travel, members are directed to prevent ragging through daily, weekly, and monthly rounds by the Anti-Ragging Squad.
• The tenure of this cell shall be for a period of three years with effect from 08/12/2024.
